Global Mission

Along with the city of Williamsburg and the greater Williamsburg area, we are called to participate with what God is doing all over the United States and world. Therefore we support the following missions financially on a monthly basis, and in practical ways as the opportunity presents itself. Links to the mission's websites have been provided if you would like any additional information. (Please don't forget to jump over to our Local Mission page)

Christian Relief Fund (CRF) www.christianrelieffund.org

Started in 1970 The Christian Relief Fund is dedicated to following Christ's example of ministering to human needs: spiritually, physically and emotionally, by feeding the hungry, healing disease and heartbreak, fighting ignorance and poverty through education and preaching the Gospel through word and deed. CRF operates in over 30 countries worldwide focusing on making sure that children are taken care of spiritually, physically and emotionally, as well as establishing orphanages, family feeding programs, medical clinics, accredited schools, emergency relief services, and bible distribution programs. Specifically WCC supports Jared Odhiambo (click on his name to watch his "thank you" video), the CRF Director in Kisumu Kenya. He oversees and directs two orphanages (totaling 204 AIDS orphans), an Elementary School (Milton Jones Academy, which serves and teaches 470 children), and the Kisumu Medical Clinic. Jared also trains Kenyan church leaders and pastors. He is a leader and minister at the Ring Road church of Christ in Kisumu. Additionally, members of WCC personally sponsor numerous children in both Kisumu and Eldoret Kenya.
